This letterpress poster has been produced as a specimen of the rather elusive Wells & Weber wood type font known as Antique Shaded No. 2 from about 1840. Printing was done at Dry Inc by Richard Kegler. This 10-line version was hand set on a Vandercook proofing press and run with black and red inks on white uncoated paper. A manicule cut by Scott Moore at Moore Wood Type was added because it just seemed right!
