Dada/surrealist artist Kurt Schwitters (1887 – 1948) created a series of collages he called: 'Merz': pictures made from found images and printed text fragments. This print is one in a series of letterpress prints made in homage to Schwitters and his Merz collages. Following this aesthetic, Richard Kegler uses fragments of vintage advertising blocks and typographic printing material layered with inks of varying opacity.
