Music and printing have long had a symbiotic relationship. In this case, a 12" LP, a 10" record, a 7" single, and a CD (as well as a 45 RPM adaptor) are mounted to boards and inked as printing blocks. Subtle height differences in grooves and stamper codes add to the depth of the stack of color. Gold and silver inks give extra oomph and a few black stars finish off this symmetrical appropriation of recorded music. Printed by Richard Kegler in 2023.
