Furniture for building up printing forms has been made from wood, metal, and Resalite (a resin impregnated composite product like hard wood) Since all of these are becoming harder to come by, we have been testing out some 3-D printed furniture with very encouraging results!
This new 3D printed furniture has the look of Resalite but is a bit ...lighter. It is printed from PLA Pro with fairly true dimensional accuracy at a 35% grid infill, double wall thickness, and a smoothed top surface. Since this is still in the beta testing phase, no guarantees are given, but so far, tests are very promising.
STL files will be offered once final heights are determined and models are deemed "done"
Since all sizes are not "stocked" they will be printed on demand
For those with a furniture cabinet with gaps, this is a great way to fill in those missing sizes. Custom sizes upon request.
