This broadside was designed and printed by the late Jim Rimmer for an event at the Type Club of Toronto circa 2005. A small number of hand-set and hand printed sheets were printed by Jim on a thin Japanese paper. Anticipating a wider demand, Coach House Press of Toronto reprinted a quantity on a text weight laid paper.
The print features latin text from the famous book: Hypnerotomachia Poliphili and shows Rimmer's Duensing Titling typeface in 60, 36, 24, 18 and 14 pt. It also features a 14pt. trial cutting proof of Rimmer's casting of Carl Dair's Cartier typeface. Also featured is a small woodcut o fteh 'pie tree' by Jim Rimmer.
A few copies of each have been found and now available for sale.
