This retro hat features a logo from Empire Type Foundry. The Empire Type Foundry of Delevan, New York was established in 1893 remaining active until it’s demise in 1970. The ETF was one of the few hold-outs from the American Type Founders’ acquisition of type foundries from around the US. As an independent foundry, they offered metal type, wood type and a variety of electrotyped cuts. In tribute to this under-the-radar type foundry, we have revived their logo onto baseball caps as a limited run.
