Created by Richard Kegler during a week-long residency at Bluseed Studios in Saranac Lake, NY, this series features impressions of 100 line (16") fragmented wood type blocks. A series of 3 editioned prints were composed in bold primary colors of Red, Blue, and Yellow and this second edition was printed in monochrome (mostly black with some subtle tinting in 3 of the 6 layers.) The overlapping forms which were cut at some point in their history are further abstracted with multiple layers of overlapping. Removing any representation or textual message leaves the forms to be appreciated for their pure form.
