This book was created by a few Kegler siblings as a family keepsake. Extra copies were printed for posterity and those interested in anecdotes of WWII and American history.
Good Show! is an anthology of tales recounted by Raymond Kegler (1924–2020), chronicling his experiences in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. The stories within span from the comical misadventures of a naïve teenager to intense tales of narrowly avoiding perilous situations, almost “buying the farm” on multiple occasions. Assembled and designed by Ray’s sons to mark his 100th birthday, this book provides a unique perspective on the adventures of a member of the “Greatest Generation.” The inclusion of contributions from more than 20 illustrators enhances the excitement and humor embedded in these concise narratives.
