As the title implies, this is one in a series of prints by Richard Kegler made in homage to Kurt Schwitters (1887 – 1948) and his 'Merz' collages. Similar to Schwitters found image assemblages, this print uses fragments of vintage advertising blocks which only give a hint of what their intended message might have been. The 'COPY' text block brings a conscious cue to the fact that this is an edition of multiples as well as a deliberate (though not literal) copy of the ideas of the Dada artist.
