This is Richard Kegler's homage to László Moholy-Nagy. “The Moholy Trinity” started with his 1922 D IV painting as main reference point. All shapes were found wooden blocks which were arranged in approximate alignment of the original, but layered somewhat differently. Two additional prints were made with the same shapes and ink colors but on two different colored paper stocks and a shifting arrangement. The same inks act differently on different stocks with varying degrees of opacity.
