Similar in concept and execution to the first print from the Pollack Printing Collection (Price Dots 2015), this print was made from select blocks found in the archive of tens of thousands of wood advertising cuts originally used by Pollack Printing of Buffalo NY for department store posters in the mid 20th Century.
This print by Richard Kegler features an arrangement of 13 different circles arranged in an overlay grid of Cyan, Yellow, & Magenta inks.
Using the blocks unaltered from their original state, they become studies in form and color with Pop Art overtones.
• 12" × 18"
• 10" × 15.5" image area
• Cyan, magenta, and yellow inks
• Boxcar Flurry white cotton 118# cover stock
• Signed and numbered
• Limited edition of only 30
