This letterpress print was created by Richard Kegler at the Rochester Institute of Technology during the ArtistsPrint! residency. This event featured 13 artists invited from around the world to create work in the RIT printmaking facility during one week in May 2022. This print uses a starburst block cut at the RIT fablab and vintage manicules from the RIT Cary Graphic Arts Collection. The circular text in the center of the print was done in collaboration with poet Alicia Rebecca Myers. The brief was to compose a series of 5 letter words set in 6 line Futura wood type with the letter O in the middle of each word. The center O was aligned and rotated using the Dry Inc.
