SAPER AUDE (Dare to be wise!) is a latin passage by Horace from his Epistles (circa 20 BC) printed by Michael Bixler as a demonstration for Wells College Students in the early 2000s when he was the letterpress class instructor. A few extra prints were made and have been in storage at the Bixler Letterfoundry. Dry Inc. has been authorized to offer these prints for sale. The quote in Latin is printed in black with hand-set Centaur type and the English translation  is set in red in Arrighi italic.
